1. Find out if you qualify
GAPP is intended for families eligible for Medicaid who have children between ages 5-21 with specific medical needs. Speak with a Miralta health expert to learn more or see our Find Care page for a full list of care types.
-
2. Apply for approval
If eligible, a Miralta health expert will work with you and your doctor to complete an initial application. We hold your hand through the process and provide support for your family. This step usually takes just a few weeks.

3. Receive care
Your child will receive high-quality care from a Miralta nurse funded by GAPP. We can also help you consider the family caregiver option, in which a parent provides care and Miralta reimburses you. Book below to learn more.
More about the Georgia Pediatric Program
GAPP is a Medicaid program in the state of Georgia that allows children under 21 with medical needs or disabilities to receive care regardless of their income.
Miralta can help your family provide skilled nursing or home care services with GAPP funding. There are no fees associated with GAPP and patients can generally begin receiving care within just a few weeks.
We can assign a dedicated nurse or caregiver from day one. Alternatively, a parent or relative may provide care and be compensated by Miralta. Either way, parents and your child’s doctor are closely involved in crafting the care plan and ensuring their health and well-being.
